She has become one of the most decorated Queens in Drag Race herstory as the first queen to win 3 challenges in a regular season and 3 challenges in an Allstar season, as well as the only queen to win a first challenge, snatch game, makeover challenge, and a ball challenge (Although these were not accomplished within a single season). 

In her original season 3 appearance I was sort of cold on Manila, probably in large part due to her affiliation with the clique 'The Heathers' who decided anyone they considered not worth a spot in their group as poorly put together and 'a Booger'.  However there is no denying her iconic looks that she rocked at every turn.  In the Allstars seasons 1 and 4  a lot of her more likable traits came through and in AS4 she has become elevated in regards to a look she was told was too much for drag race but has become perhaps as iconic as any look she rocked on the show.

The runway catagory was Curves and Swerves: Padded for the Gods and Luzon later tweeted a picture of her original idea which was a tongue in cheek take on the term padded.

Some have called it a period piece, I think she should have saved it for the maxi-challenge.

 Welcome to my first bi-weekly alternate captions which will probably deal with a fictional female-led tyranny run by The National Feminist Party.  These will be similar in tone to some of my other series like The Gynarchy but without necessitating the inclusion of feminization of the male subjects.

ALERT: The National Feminist Party (NaFe's for short) have Feminist in their name but are in fact an oppressive misandrist regime. The real world party they are based on called themselves Socialist and that didn't make it true either.

I have decided my top 10 Queens from the first 10 seasons of Drag Race (This may be in part based on things they did on All Stars Seasons)

"Laissez les bons temps rouler!"

Chi Chi's original Season 8 entrance look was pure art, crafted from trash bags she achieved a stunning amount of detail in the form or intricate ruching on the bodice and a layered skirt.

She was sweet and charming and IMO was a top contender for Miss Congeniality which she lost out to the wildly popular Cynthia Lee Fontain.

Sadly Chi Chi passed away earlier this year, making her the second Drag Race Queen lost.
