Top 10 Favourite Drag Race Queens: #4: BenDeLaCreme
Continuing my Top 10 Queens from the first 10 seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race
#4:
BenDeLaCreme
@bendelacreme
BenDeLeCreme is one of the most successful and popular Queens in Drag Race herstory, winning Miss Congeniality in Season 6 after making the top five. This after only being in the bottom a total of twice (Both times with Darrien Lake as their first Lip Synch was the season's double save), racking up 2 wins, 3 High finishes, 2 safes and 1 other low ranking.
When she returned for All Stars 3, after declining All Stars 2, she was on track to win that season handedly and guarantee her spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame, as the first 4 episodes had her one of the two winners all four times, twice losing the lipsynch for your life, once winning the lipsynch and one double win. She took an episode out of the top by being merely safe and came back in the sixth episode once again winning not just the challenge but the lipsynch itself only to reveal that she had written her own name in white-out on the lipstick instead of eliminating one of her fellow competitors. This performance netted her three unique accolades The only queen to ever win four consecutive challenges, the only queen to win 5 challenges in a season and the only queen to ever win Snatch Game twice.
